at La Maison Rose & La Maison Verte
Cooking & Food
We can arrange for a cook for you at La Maison Rose or La Maison Verte, to cook for your family and friends. He’ll arrive early to prepare and to lay the table. He’ll serve you and clear everything away, leaving you to enjoy the delicious food and great company!
You can order a dinner from our local contact and this can be arranged for your arrival day, so that you don’t have to worry about shopping and cooking. You might like to go to the Sunday morning market at Moissac to stock up – the supermarkets are open then too.
In the Houses
Equipment
In each house you’ll find a coffee machine, a Bluetooth speaker, apple TV and in La Maison Rose there is two washing machines, a dryer, iron and ironing board and hoover. Each bedroom has a hairdryer and anti-mosquito plugin device.
Cleaning products
We provide dishwasher tablets, washing-up liquid, detergents, bin bags, loo paper and other cleaning products for your use. We have soap made by a local husband and wife team, they make soap specially for La Maison Rose in olive oil and lemon.
Young children
We provide two travel cots with mattresses, two high chairs and some books, indoor and outdoor games such as badminton, Lego and table tennis.
Heating
La Maison Rose has central heating throughout and La Maison Verte has electric storage heaters in the rooms. There are also a fire places in La Maison Rose and La Maison Verte which can be lit and the chimney’s have been recently swept. We can provide dry firewood.
There are standing fans in all the bedrooms and air-conditioning in the two double rooms in the pigeonnier.
Internet and Bed Linen
High-speed internet
There are total speeds of over 250 Mbps in La Maison Rose and La Maison Verte and in the top courtyard. Plenty of room to stream movies and music.
Bed linen and towels
All the bed linen is 100% Egyptian cotton, and the towels are also pure cotton. We also provide pool towels, monogrammed Turkish towels made with organic cotton and hand towels.
Outside the House
Garden produce
In La Maison Rose, please help yourselves to the vegetables in the potager in the lower terraced garden. There are also herbs rosemary, thyme, sage, oregano, basil and mint planted for you.
EV charging point
There is a dedicated parking space with a point (with your own connector) for electric vehicles. Within 6km there is a fast charging point of 320kw.
Swimming pool
We offer a salt based pool 12 metres by 5 metres, heated to your preference. There are plenty of sun beds and a large canvas shade if you need any respite from the sunny day.
Barbecue
We have a large barbecue which can be used in with charcoal or gas, which is provide for your use. Instructions are available.
